6. Absolute Accountability

Ji Duma publishes a bi-annual report of all funds contributed by donors. By breaking it down into percentages of funds that are expended on particular projects, including materials and cost of living for our employees, we are able to keep our accounting transparent.

Also, budgets for the micro-enterprise development, including a breakdown of Ji Duma’s employees, their roles and the role of the villagers in the projects are available for viewing.

Contributing to small scale projects that establish self-sustaining enterprises visibly improves conditions of life in Africa versus giving to larger organizations where immediate results are often hard to see and funds fall between bureaucratic cracks.
